Gonski rally on the green

EDUCATORS from Sunraysia’s New South Wales schools will tonight ramp up their campaign for the Federal Government to fund the final two years of the Gonski agreement, by taking the bowling green.

As long as the rain holds off the Wentworth Teachers Association will host the Gonski on the Green event to highlight how much local schools will miss out on if the full six-year Gonski agreement is not rolled out.

Wentworth Teachers Association president Bianca-Marie Low said students who struggled with literacy and numeracy would miss out on support, students with a disability would likely not get the amount of assistance needed and various programs would be cut if that funding was not secured.
