Bowlers roll up for comp

Mildura’s premier bowls pairs event has expanded for its third year, with a 50 per cent increase in entries and more prizemoney on offer.

To be held at the Mildura Bowls Complex over the Queen’s Birthday long weekend on June 10 and 11, the 2017 event has already attracted a strong and high quality field.

The $7500 tournament will be contested by 72 pairs – up from the 48 that entered in its first two years – with bowlers travelling from all over Victoria as well as South Australia and New South Wales to compete.
