Sunday saw the lowest scores in any Open round so far in 2017 as Greg Rhodes finished the weekend at Riverside with a full head of steam shooting a 6-under 66 to finish with a total of 143 after shooting 77 on Saturday.
Ashley Whitehouse shot 75 on Saturday but brought home the bacon on Sunday.
He shot 67 with a back nine to remember finishing with a birdie on the 14th, birdie on the 15th and another on the 16th.
By that stage he had blown the rest of the seeded group away but while walking down the 17th fairway he was informed that
Rhodes had shot 66, which automatically started the calculations going through his mind.
