COLOURS will fly this weekend as more than 1000 people are expected to join in Sunassist’s second annual Rainbow Run.
While registrations have been slow, Sunassist executive officer Richard Garlick said he was hopeful they would pick up now Easter had come to an end.
Last year it was a similar situation, but last minute registrations streamed in during the final week with the event drawing triple what organisations had anticipated.
For the 2017 event Mr Garlick said they were not going to be caught short when it came to the star of the show, the coloured powder, with more than 3000 packets ordered.
