Regional games could help regions grow

THE Letter to the Editor from The Nationals leader Peter Walsh (Sunraysia Daily, April 18) is on the mark as always for regional Victoria and even regional NSW. Sadly, Nationals for regional NSW are far too silent save for Barnaby Joyce who gets so much for his seat.

The regional games are a long way off but can be fantastic.

Regions need to be valued and grown and have their potential captured.

Sadly, regions are victims to “city games” by city politicians who fail to see the value in many regional locations.

It is time attitudes to country life changed and regional politicians unite for we who love life in the country but are denied so much.
