No regrets, says Broad

MEMBER for Mallee Andrew Broad says the Federal Government is not remorseful about abolishing the 457 skilled worker visa.

On Tuesday Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull announced it would replace the temporary skilled worker visa with two-year and four-year visas for temporary foreign workers in a bid to provide jobs to Australians first.

“I want the prosperity of Aust­ralians staying in Australia and giving young Australians the opportun­ities to find worthwhile employment,” Mr Broad said.
