IRYMPLE trainer Boris Devcic has been fined $6000 after caffeine was found in a urine sample from horse Noble Julius.
The Harness Racing Victoria racing appeals and disciplinary board yesterday heard the case, which related to charges issued against Devcic after Noble Julius won race 7 at Mildura on November 23 last year.
Devcic had pleaded guilty to the charge before submissions on penalty were heard from HRV stewards and the trainer.
