ASH Rowe is a chance to line up for Merbein against Wentworth this week despite injuring his ankle in Saturday’s opening round clash.
Magpies president Toney Hurley said Rowe had noticed an improvement in his ankle since Tuesday and was hopeful the joint McLeod medallist would be passed fit to play in the club’s first home match this season.
Rowe was yet to begin running on his ankle yesterday but Hurley said the 22-year-old would declare his fitness before team selection tonight.
