Report into fatal aircraft crash to take two years

A REPORT into a fatal light aircraft crash near Mildura Airport in November 2015 is now not expected to be completed until almost two years after the accident.

Boeill Creek horticulturist Tony Mangan was the sole occupant on a private flight from Moorabbin Airport to Mildura when the plane made contact with powerlines and crashed into a vineyard about 2km from the runway.

The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) says the final report into the accident is expected to be competed by September this year.
