BOEILL Creek pacer Daylight Dan has been competing against tougher opposition in recent outings and can return to the winning list in the Pat Walsh Memorial Robinvale Pacing Cup at tonight’s Mildura trots meeting.

The Robinvale and District Harness Racing Club no longer conducts meetings, but the committee is keen to continue to hold three trophy races each year at a Mildura meeting, including the $7000 Pat Walsh Memorial Robinvale Pacing Cup.

The Geoff Lucas-trained Daylight Dan is racing better than his form suggests as he finished fifth behind the top South Australian pacer Bettor Party in the Gawler Cup and a close-up seventh in a strong M1-M2 class race at Tabcorp Park, Melton, last month.
