THOUSANDS of chocolate Easter eggs were hidden around Sunraysia as part of several Easter festivities for children in the region.

About 20,000 were hidden at Nowingi Place for the annual Love Our City, Mildura’s Free Community Easter Egg Hunt.

More than 2000 eagle-eyed children and adults took part in the four hunts organised for the third annual event on Easter Saturday.

To satisfy chocoholics of all ages, there was a parents-assisted zero to four-year-olds hunt, five to seven-year-olds, eight-to-12 and 13 and over.
