SUNRAYSIA Farmers Market will consider an extended format for next Easter long-weekend after attracting a record crowd to its market on Saturday.

Thousands of people were at the Jaycee Park market, which also incorporated the Riverfront Boutique Market.

Co-ordinator Amanda Smith said while it was difficult to estimate crowd numbers, feedback from stallholders indicated it was bigger than last year.

“It was definitely bigger than last year, which was bigger than the year before, so it’s obviously growing,” she said.
