FORMER AFL star Campbell Brown left Sarah Oval battered and bruised after his Good Friday cameo for the Bulldogs.
Over the weekend Triple M radio reported Brown broke a rib, dislocated his finger and did his knee in South Mildura’s loss to Irymple, but played through the pain and then entertained the crowd afterwards.
“That’s the sort of bloke (Campbell) is, he’s a professional through and through,” South Mildura senior coach Patrick Irwin, said yesterday.
Irwin revealed Brown had broken his rib in the first quarter of the match.
