MILDURA may be nearly 16,000km from his homeland, but there’s no place Mildura Heat superstar Calvin Henry would rather be.

From Orlando, Florida (but born in New York), the American first came to Sunraysia in 2013 as a 26-year-old as the Heat’s star import.

Four seasons, two Big V Most Valuable Player awards, a lot of points and a young family later, the soon-to-be permanent Australian resident doesn’t want to be anywhere else.

“This was always the goal,” the 31-year-old said at the Hothouse yesterday.
