FOR Josh Dean, leading his beloved Wentworth on the football field is the realisation of a dream.
“I can’t wait,” the 23-year-old said.
“My family is a big part of the footy club, I’ve been here since I was born. I’m very proud of it.”
The tough nut, named the Roos’ 2017 co-captain this week alongside star ruckman Nick Jensen, played 12 games last season for the club he has grown up with.
That was his highest games total since 2012 after a horror run with injury.
