SWAN Hill has been rocked by a second case of anthrax.
Testing at the weekend confirmed a second case of anthrax in a sheep at a separate, but related property, to that of the first Swan Hill anthrax outbreak on March 3.
Agriculture Victoria is responding to minimise the risk of spread, including through vaccination of exposed and at-risk animals and disposal of the suspect infected carcass.
The affected premises has been quarantined and movement of animals is being investigated, including to other premises.
