OVER the Australian summer, Merbein speedway rider Justin Sedgmen anxiously waited for a call or email that would confirm his spot on the roster of a team in the United Kingdom.
Late last week Sedgmen’s wait was over, with the announcement Manchester-based Belle Vue Aces had signed the former Swindon man in the Speedway Great Britain Premiership.
“I’m stoked to sign for Belle Vue,” a relieved Sedgmen said.
“They are a club with a great history in the sport and with the new promotion I think the club is definitely going places.”
