Shed helps racing legend rebuild life

LIKE many Aussie blokes, Leigh Adams’ shed is a big part of his life.

The 45-year-old retired motorcycle speedway legend, wheelchair-bound after a horror crash in 2011 while practicing for the Finke Desert Race, can often be found in his own workshop at his property near Irymple.

Whatever he is working on in his shed, Adams says it keeps him sane.
