Jobs grow on vines for all

MADEC harvest labour services says more jobs are becoming available in the horticulture industry for both backpackers and Sunraysia residents, as the summer harvest season gets underway.

Picking of table grapes and the vintage is gearing up, creating more demand for workers.

MADEC harvest labour services manager Scott Cameron said about 100 job vacancies became available in the region last week and were filled by both locals and backpackers.
