State of the lake stinks

MILDURA residents and holiday makers have been left wondering what has happened to the picturesque riverfront area they have come to love.

Yesterday, as children happily splashed and played in the city’s popular Water Play Park along Hugh King Drive, just a few metres away was a source of much speculation and concern for many of their parents.

Mardi Holland-Monsen and her three sons have been regular visitors to the play park since it opened in 2015, however she said the current state of the adjoining Ornamental Lakes was a downfall.
