Mad Max fans set to hit the road

THE South of Heaven Social Motorcycle Club, a nationwide group of social riders that also boasts members from Mildura, will hold its first Mad Max-themed Wanted Dead or Alive tour in March.

Mad Max will roar into Sunraysia in March when a group of social motorcyclists roll through Wentworth on their way to Silverton, in outback NSW. Getting ready for the action are Travis Bridley, Anthony Lever, Terry “Umpy” Brennan, Grant “Grundy” Hissey and Sierra Symens.

It’ll take the riders from Calder Park in Melbourne through Victoria’s north-west and into NSW at Wentworth, where they will hold their first night of live entertainment at the Captain Sturt Hotel on March 4.

“We pick hotels in small communities to host our events in order to give them the ability to sustain themselves in these tough times,” organiser Mark Burke said.
