MILDURA has had a say on the priority areas it wants the State Government to spend its money, with tourism projects, transport infrastructure and better digital links all on the wish list.

About 130 people from across the Mallee put their heads together at Thursday night’s inaugural regional assembly to work out their top priorities for the region.

Some fresh ideas were put forward, including the creation of new Uber-style ride-sharing services in rural communities and a new organic produce tourist trail along the Murray River.
