STUDENTS received some valuable life lessons yesterday as part of Coomealla High School’s second annual transition program.

The two-day sessions for students moving into Year 11 next year aimed to unite classmates, give them tools to cope with stresses associated with senior school years and provide them with skills they can use outside school.

“We want our incoming Year 11s to be bonded together as a cohesive group and for them to know how to get help if they need it, to build resilience among them and give them life skills,” student welfare teacher Nadein Mayfield said.
