COMMUNITY groups in the region have been encouraged to apply for a share of $350,000 in funding for projects that preserve and share stories from our past.

Member for Mildura Peter Crisp said grants of up to $15,000 were available through the Public Record Office’s Local History Grants program for projects that preserve and share stories of Victoria.

“There are so many stories that have made our region the place it is today, and these grants allow our volunteer groups to collate and present these for us all to share.” Mr Crisp said.
