Citrus strategy set for review

CITRUS growers in Sunraysia, South Australia’s Riverland and the North Burnett region in Queensland are being encouraged to identify their goals and key challenges for the next five years.

Citrus Australia said workshops would be held next month in the three regions to provide growers a chance to outline the issues the industry needs to prioritise.

It said the information collected from the workshops would be used to help develop a plan for the Strategic Investment Advisory Panel, which decides on how to invest the national citrus levy.
