Hail help for grape growers

Murray Valley Winegrowers says it will continue to provide support and advice to Sunraysia wine grape growers affected by the November 11 hail storm that wiped out fruit crops in a band from ­Pomona through to Merbein, Cardross, Red Cliffs and Paringi.

Last week a field day was held at Gol Gol North wine grape grower Alf Sapuppo’s property to inform storm-affected growers on the best way to manage damaged vines.

Mr Sapuppo lost much of his fruit in a hail storm in 2014.
