$5.9 million boost for TAFE skills

SUNITAFE will significantly invest in upskilling its own staff and on a number of yet to be announced projects, after receiving a multi-million dollar boost yesterday through the State Government’s Skills First program.

The statewide $114 million package was announced by then Training and Skills Minister Steve Herbert in August.

Yesterday, new minister Gayle Tierney visited Mildura for the first time in the role, and announced SuniTAFE’s share of the funding totalling $5.9 million.
