DESPITE a rough start to the City of Adelaide final at Monarto, South Australia, last weekend, Merbein South’s Connor Farr finished strongly to claim second place in a good warm-up for tomorrow’s Ben Hocking Memorial Meeting at Mildura Kart Club.

After engine issues and an indifferent first heat, Tag 125 Light class driver Farr was able to regather himself and start on grid four for the final before an early incident threw things out.

“Heading into the first corner everyone was side by side, everyone wants to get to the front and as we were going around one guy just ran over someone, locked up and went backwards and wiped out the second row,” Farr said.
