Mallee chosen for support hubs

This culture of family violence is our great shame, and it’s our number one law and order issue

MALLEE family violence victims will be among the first in Victoria to have access to new support and safety hubs.

Premier Daniel Andrews will today announce the state’s first hubs – a key recommendation of the Royal Commission into Family Violence – will be launched in the Mallee, Barwon, Inner Gippsland and North-East Melbourne regions.

Support and safety hubs will be a visible contact point for victim survivors and provide access to highly skilled workers that are integrated into the broader social service and justice systems.
