STAFF and students of St Joseph’s College raised their pinkies and enjoyed a hot drink recently as part of international Good Cup of Tea Day.

During recess, students enjoyed a chocolate drink or cup of tea among friends while staff made small donations to the Mercy International Association’s House of Mercy in Dublin for its upkeep and education program.

“At the assembly we talked about the significance of the 11th of the 11th, which is that it’s the anniversary of Catherine McAuley’s death,” St Joseph’s faith and mission co-ordinator Paula Cox said.
