ROBINVALE-owned pacer Johns Grin continued his consistent form for Terang trainer Matt Craven with a fast-finishing victory in the City Council Pace at the Swan Hill trots meeting last Saturday night.
Johns Grin was well positioned in the one-one by stable driver Chris Svanosio and he sprinted fast in the home straight to record a 1.9m victory.
Johns Grin had a late start to his racing career with owner-trainer Peter “Zeke” Tyrrell when a five-year-old, but displayed potential including at his first win in an invitational driver series at Mildura in October last year with champion reinsman Anthony Butt.
