AN Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) report into a fatal light plane crash near Mildura Airport in November last year has been delayed by “competing priorities”.

Boeill Creek horticulturist Tony Mangan was the sole occupant in a Cessna 310 flying from Moorabbin Airport to Mildura when the plane

made contact with powerlines and crashed in a vineyard about 2km from the runway.

The ATSB said the release of the draft investigation report to directly involved parties (DIP) for comment was now expected to take place in January next year.
