IT’s a progressive time for three Sunraysia’s secondary colleges as they begin to piece together masterplans for a complete overhaul of their buildings and facilities.

In June, as part of the 2016-17 Victorian budget, Minister for Education James Merlino announced $7 million in funding for major upgrades at Irymple and Red Cliffs secondary colleges and $2.25 million for Merbein P-10 College, after they were identified as being among the state’s schools in most need of ­improvement.

Irymple Secondary College principal Jo McQuinn said the school had recently started work on its masterplan, which included a new classroom concept and a more interactive environment for both students and teachers.
