VCOSS says communities should develop their own solutions to poverty.

VICTORIA’S peak social advocacy body is sending state MPs, local councils and community leaders a blueprint to fight poverty and disadvantage in their backyards. 

The blueprint is included in the new Victorian Council of Social Service (VCOSS) policy report Communities Taking Power.

The report calls on local communities to jointly develop local solutions to seemingly intractable social challenges.
