Volunteer Ursula Jaehner has been recognised for spending time with those at risk of being socially isolated.

MILDURA’S Ursula Jaehner is a finalist in the MOA Benchmarking Community Service in Aged Care Award, part of the 2016 Victorian Regional Achievement and Community Awards.

Ms Jaehner was nominated for her volunteer work with Community Visitors Scheme (CVS) and has visited six residents of Princess Court Homes over the past 11 years.

Since beginning in 2005, Ms Jaehner has spent more than 500 hours providing companionship with those at risk of being socially isolated.
