WINE grape growers in the Murray-Darling and Swan Hill regions are being urged to vote on the future of their industry development order.

Murray Valley Winegrowers (MVW) said the order was the statutory provision, which underpinned the collection of levies by the Murray Valley Wine Grape Industry Development Committee (IDC).

The order is subject to a compulsory vote by wine grape growers every four years and if approved, the IDC will have the authority to continue to collect a charge of $1.25/tonne on wine grapes produced for sale in the Murray-Darling and Swan Hill regions.
