Dinos discovered in mall

THE idea of a giant dinosaur roaming Langtree Mall didn’t scare anyone off over the weekend, with a huge crowd gathering to meet T-Rex.

The first day of the Dinosaur Discover Workshops on Friday saw a stream of little paleontologists join in activity sessions which included digging for dinosaur bones and fossils, and learning about the Jurassic era.

The highlight of the sessions though was baby T-Rex, a two metre tall and four metre long lifelike creature who, guided by a handler, interacted and roared at children, much to their excitement.

The workshops will wrap up today.
