A STATE of the art, full-field digital mammography unit will help deliver a more comfortable experience for Sunraysia women.

Sunraysia Medical Imaging welcomed the improvements to its breast screening service which will help detect breast cancer at the Healthscope Court rooms.

The BreastScreen Victoria clinic’s mammographer, Martine Silcox, who has been with BreastScreen Victoria for 15 years, said some women avoided getting a breast screen because they believed a mammogram was intrusive or even painful.
