Two scientists’ life work was rewarded this week in Mildura.

With a combined 84 years of studying the earth’s sand and soil, Australian scientist Grant McTainsh and Israeli scientist Haim Tsoar were this week recognised by their peers with the International Society for Aeolian Research  (ISAR) Distinguished Career Award.

Five nominations were presented to a judging panel with its members deciding both Professor McTainsh and Professor Tsoar had matched their contributions to Aeolian Research.
