Cars draw a crowd: Thousands expected to help Sunassist at Motor Show

CARS of all makes and models are expected to lure thousands to Mildura Senior College this Sunday for the Sunassist Sunraysia Daily Motor Show.

More than 5000 people attended last year’s show and with plenty of new attractions, organisers are hopeful of another bumper crowd.

Hundreds of cars will be on show, alongside a range of luxurious caravans and boats.

As an added attraction, Mildura Motorcycles will for the first time showcase a wide range of bikes.

Event co-ordinator and Sunassist service development officer Gayle Danson said everything was ready for a huge event.

“Everyone is invited to come along and enjoy the day and support a great local institution, Sunassist – volunteers supporting people to live independently in the community,” Ms Danson said.

Among those eagerly awaiting Sunday is Ford sales manager for the Davison Motor Group Nerissa Burdett, who will be busy showcasing one of her favourite vehicles the Ford FG MKII Falcon XR6 ute.
