FINALS fever has gripped Irymple as the Swallows aim for back-to-back flags tomorrow.
History beckons for Irymple as the Swallows aim for the club’s first consecutive premierships in history.
The Swallows will enter the clash against Wentworth as red-hot favourites on the back of a 17-game winning streak.
Co-owner of Stacks of Food in Irymple Victor Hamence said it would be magic if the senior and reserve sides could salute tomorrow.
“We’ve supported them for the four years we’ve been here,” Mr Hamence said.
“We supply them onions every Saturday at their home games for their steak and onion sandwiches.”
Mr Hamence said a win would be great for the community.
“It does boost business, all the locals get behind it which is the big thing,” he said.
“It’s a big thing for Irymple and for the football club to make the grand final.
“We’re all looking forward to it.”
Mr Hamence said he was tipping the Swallows to win.
“It’ll be a big disappointment if they don’t get it,” he said.
