 Silence on flouride not unnoticed

Silence on flouride not unnoticed

03 Sep, 2010 11:10 AM
I FIND it puzzling that someone such as Dr Arnold Jago comments on the ills of the proposed casino but has not made one comment, either in support or against, the fluoridation of our water.

He has made many comments about teenage pregnancies, prostitutes and potential criminals drawn to our town if a casino is built.

I have a choice as to whether I enter the casino doors or not, it is not forced on me against my will.

The casino might not even be viable and I think the average Mildurian will not be able to afford the inflated prices that will be asked.

So it is by far a lesser evil.

The fluoride issue however needs to continue to be addressed as more and more information about the dangers to the human body become evident.

Methinks there is money in gambling as well as in sick people.

Stefanie Ransome,

Mildura.
