The signatories to the ad are some of our most respected district elders, people who are thinking beyond personal financial gain to research what is best for our community.

They hold our community and its future in their hearts.

It was also heartening to read of the larrikins with their posters.

We should be pleased that our youth also care enough about their community to go to the effort.

How about we read what they are saying? Can we see these posters on display? Maybe there is a local gallery willing to show them?

Historically most of our art has had a political or social statement.
