LIBERAL leader Ted Baillieu has killed off plans for a $400 million casino in Mildura and Nationals leader Peter Ryan has also backed away from any support for the project.
My question to the 70 percent of people who supported the casino proposal in the recent Sunraysia Daily poll is: Why should you vote for the Liberal/National parties at the next state election?
For too long this electorate has been an easy career path and easy pay cheque for conservative politicians.
We need representation that will fight for our town, not just toe the party line and protect their pay cheques.
