THE Mildura-Coomealla Cycling Club held a 55-kilometre handicap road race from Werrimull to Merinee and return last Saturday afternoon.

Four limit riders were sent off in Alison Curry, Brodie Athorn, Terry Miller and Colin Gordon (RCC), while next away at 10 minutes were Kevin Gregory, Ann Jones, Ken Dean and Glenn O’Brien (RCC).

The third group of Mark Fabich, Greg Scott, Dave Digby, Thomas Henderson, Ben Athorn and Michael Allford went at 17 minutes with the second chopping block off at 22.35 with Michael Shipsides, Rachel Hanlin, Dave Priest, Andrew Ryan, Barry Pollock and Arthur Anderson.

The next chopping block was away at 27 minutes with Angus Boase (RCC), Mick Gray (RCC), Garry Pitt, Tom Athorn, Les Jordan and Adrian Lloyd.
