Motocross back after flooding

23 Feb, 2012 03:00 AM
The North-West Victoria Motorcycle Club is gearing up for their biggest season yet after recovering from last year’s floods.

Floods meant that the club could not race on the track for the opening months of the season, reducing the year to only a three races.

Jamberoo Park will host five-race series this year, starting on March 11.

One of Australia’s leading motocross and supercross coaches, Greg Moss, was on hand last weekend giving junior riders tips on how to improve their skills.

Moss, who has 38 years experience in the business, was full of praise for the way the club has rebuilt the track after last year’s floods.

“The facility here is unbelievable, it’s one of the best facilities, the volunteering and the way they work together, it’s one of the best clubs I have ever seen without a doubt,” Moss said.
