THE Peter Tonkin trained Devlish Smile sprints to an emphatic victory in last night’s $25,000 Greggs Electrical Ouyen Cup at Blackburn Park. The youngest pacer in the field, Devlish Smile was driven superbly by Daryl Douglas, outclassing his 10 competitors headed by Mickey Mac and the favourite Ohoka Nevada. It was the first Ouyen Cup contested at Ouyen since 2005. For results from last night’s meeting, see Page 22. A full review of racing will appear in tomorrow’s Sunraysia Daily.
