MAKEENA Finch (pictured) can’t wait to get her little hands on some Wiggles tickets.
The three-year-old is a big fan and her favourite Wiggle is Anthony, or “the blue one” as she calls him.
She knows all the words to Hot Potato and all the actions to A Frog Went a Walking.
As soon as she heard The Wiggles were coming to town, out came her Wiggles drum set, tambourine and storybook yesterday.
“I love The Wiggles, my favourite is the blue one and I like their big red car,” she said.
“I like Dorothy the Dinosaur and I’m going to go down to the river to see them and sing and dance with Mummy and Daddy.”
About 4000 tickets will be sold from February 14 for the two Mildura shows on April 1.
Makeena’s parents Jolene and Troy will buy three.
“Mildura doesn’t get international kids performers like The Wiggles visiting often,” Mrs Finch said.
“I have travelled outside of Mildura to children’s shows so it’s good that Mildura is hosting an event like this.
“My little girl loves The Wiggles so I will definitely be taking her and supporting the event.
“Hopefully other families will do the same and perhaps other kids shows will come to town.”
