WENTWORTH Public School’s 150th birthday celebrations proved to be a huge success over the long weekend.
The celebration saw about 500 past students and teachers commemorate the milestone over the three-days.
Visitors were treated to dinners, heritage displays, performances and old time games as part of the celebration.
Principal Warren Davies said the event was a great success and they were looking into holding more reunions.
“It went extremely well, even better than we thought,” Mr Davies said.
“Everyone enjoyed catching up with each other, we had our oldest former students, Maud Crang, 93, and Lindsay Taylor, 97, attend the event which was wonderful.
