The deadline to enter the inaugural Mildura Riverfront Marathon is fast approaching, as there are mere hours left until the cut-off.

Entries for the marathon and half marathon, being held on the King's Birthday weekend, will be accepted until 11.59pm, Sunday, May 5.

The field for the long runs will then be closed, to avoid congestion on the track.
